Description
The Concussor's TR-808 cowbell, in discrete analogue circuitry kept as close to the original as Analogue Solutions could: two square wave oscillators tuned close together so that they beat. Tuned to the same pitch, they make a synth sound to play in tune.
Key features
- TUNE 1 and TUNE 2, one per oscillator; DECAY and LEVEL
- TRIG input, 5 to 12 V: a trigger or a gate of 5 V at least, a taller pulse accents the hit
- ACC input, 0 to 12 V: once patched, its voltage sets the level of each hit
- TRIG LED; two outputs of the same sound, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm; +/-12 V and +5 V, 10 HP
