Description

The Concussor's TR-808 hand clap as ModularGrid draws it, with TONE and REVERB knobs where the 2007 manual draws BPF and DECAY (that manual's list of controls also names a Reverb): the clap, about three staccato bursts of noise, then its reverb, a soft filtered noise.

Key features

  • TONE, SNAPPY (the clap's level), REVERB and LEVEL
  • TRIG input, 5 to 12 V: a trigger or a gate of 5 V at least, a taller pulse accents the hit
  • ACC input, 0 to 12 V: once patched, its voltage sets the level of each hit
  • TRIG LED; two outputs of the same sound, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm; +/-12 V and +5 V, 10 HP
