Description

An 8 HP analog VCO built on a triangle core, with thru-zero frequency and phase modulation: sine, saw and pulse outputs, and a vari output whose continuously variable waveshape, from sine through triangle and saw to square, crossfades with a square sub-octave. A digital control adds an octave switch on the coarse knob, an LFO mode, hard or soft sync and the Disorder noise mode.

Key features

  • Triangle core analog VCO with precise digital control, C0 (16.35 Hz) at the coarse knob's left stop
  • Thru-zero linear FM input and thru-zero PM input, with its PM attenuator and its unipolar AMNT input
  • VARI output: SHAPE morphs sine, triangle, saw and square (or pulse, by a jumper on the back), with its CV input and attenuator
  • Sub-octave crossfaded by SUB and its CV: -1 octave, -2 octaves or -2 octaves with a quarter pulse width
  • OCTAVER: the coarse knob turned into an octave switch; DISORDER: the VCO as a noise source
  • LFO mode, its lamp green for positive voltages and red for negative ones; hard or soft sync
  • PWM input, 1 to 99 % pulse width
  • Its settings stored for the next power-up
