Black EG

A compact, full analogue ADSR envelope generator from Erica Synths' Black Series, retired, for acid basselines and very slow drones, with a looping mode and a gate delayed after the attack.

Key features

• Attack, decay, sustain and release on four large knobs
• SHORT / LONG: attack 0 to 600 ms or 6.5 s, decay 0 to 3 or 30 s, release 0 to 3 or 35 s
• SINGLE / LOOP: a normal ADSR or a looping AR; with a cable in GATE it loops while the gate is high
• G. DELAY: a gate after the attack stage, with its lamp, to chain envelopes into evolving pads
• Direct and inverted outputs, 0 to 10 V
• +25 mA, -15 mA, 25 mm deep
