Black LFO

A broad function LFO from Erica Synths' Black Series, retired: waveform selection, a frequency divider and multiplier, tap tempo and external sync, a gate input for key follow and a built-in VCA that shapes its amplitude.

Key features

• FREQUENCY, 0.1 to 60 Hz, on a large knob; its lamp shows the output
• Six waveforms on the waveform knob
• TAP sets the frequency, its lamp the tap rate; DIVIDE divides or multiplies it (÷4 to ×4); SYNC follows an external clock
• A built-in VCA: without a gate it loops on HOLD/ATTACK (0 to 2 s) and DECAY (0 to 5 s); with one, the LFO starts on the gate and follows an ASR or HSR envelope
• ATTACK / HOLD sets the HOLD/ATTACK knob's mode
• CV IN, -10 to +10 V; OUT, -5 to +5 V
• +25 mA, -13 mA, 25 mm deep
