Description

The beating heart of a modular system from Erica Synths' Black Series, retired: a clock generating several clock signals at once, with tap tempo, shuffle, division and multiplication, a random clock and a performance time stopwatch.

Key features

  • BPM/CONFIG, an encoder setting the BPM, 30 to 400, on a three-digit display; clicked, it opens the configuration menu (DIV, SHD, RND, RST, SHG, RNG, PTS)
  • TAP/RND, tap tempo; RST, a reset pulse on RST OUT, by hand or every 16 to 64 clock pulses; START/STOP
  • SHUFFLE, 0 to 90 %, and its CV input; BPM CV alters the clock rate
  • CLK OUT, DIV OUT (/2 to x8), SHFL OUT (x2 to x8) and RND OUT, their duty cycle adjustable
  • CLK IN, an external clock the display then shows
  • +40 mA, -5 mA, 25 mm deep
