Description

The first beating heart of Erica Synths' Black Series, retired: a clock generating several clock signals at once, with tap tempo, shuffle, a divided clock and a random clock.

Key features

  • RATE, an encoder setting the BPM, 30 to 400, on a three-digit display; clicked, it sets the divided clock's rate (/2 by default) and the shuffling clock's multiplication
  • TAP, tap tempo; START/STOP
  • SHUFFLE, 0 to 90 %; CV IN and its CV LEVEL, the BPM drifting with a CV
  • CLK OUT, DIV CLK, SHUF CLK and RND CLK, 0 to +5 V
  • CLK IN, an external clock the display then shows
  • +40 mA, -5 mA, 25 mm deep
