Mutable Instruments' macro oscillator, in 16 HP: a digital voltage-controlled oscillator with 47 synthesis models, chosen on its four-letter display.

Key features

• 47 models: classic analog waveforms and their sync, sub and triple variants, swarms and combs, digital filters, formant and vowel synthesis, additive harmonics, FM, physical models (plucked, bowed, blown and fluted, bell, drum), TR-808 kick, cymbal and snare, wavetables, noises, granular clouds and a digital modulation
• TIMBRE and COLOR: the two parameters each model maps to its own sound, with CV inputs; MODULATION sets the TIMBRE CV's amount and polarity
• FINE and COARSE frequency, FM attenuverter and input, V/OCT input
• TRIG input to strike the physical models, or as an internal envelope's trigger
• The EDIT encoder and the display set the model and the options: META (model chosen by the FM CV), bit depth and rate, quantizer, internal AD envelope
