Touch Controlled Voltage Source
Panel · 431.8 × 177.8 mm
Description
The Buchla 100 series' touch controlled voltage source (1960s), four panel units wide, drawn in its San Francisco Tape Music Center face: "ten independent, touch activated keys, each with a corresponding control voltage output and pulse output. The voltage outputs are particularly useful for controlling gates (110) or mixers (107), and the pulse outputs for initiating attack waveforms (180) or other events" (the 100 series catalogue). Ten metal plates on a green board, a DECAY TIME knob and a numbered knob for each, ten black voltage outputs and ten red pulse outputs. Drawn from a 2.55 px/mm photograph: its small print is rough, as it reads there.
