Buchla's 207e Mixer / Preamplifier, a 200e series module: a six-input stereo mixer above, a microphone preamplifier below.

Key features

  • Six inputs, a level knob each, mixed to left and right outputs with VU meters; channels 2 to 5 placed by a pan knob, channels 1 and 6 by a voltage (1 from the left, 6 from the right)
  • A headphones output with its level
  • A microphone preamplifier on an XLR input, its gain in three steps (10, 25, 40 db) and a level knob, with phantom power
  • An envelope detector with a c.v. out and low, norm and overload lamps
  • Preamp gain, phantom power and remote enable kept in the patch
