Buchla's 230e Triple Envelope Tracker / Preamplifier, a 200e series module: three microphone preamplifiers below, three envelope trackers above, each tracker fed by its preamp until a cable is plugged into its input.

Key features

• Three preamplifiers on combo inputs (XLR or 1/4 inch), their gain in three ranges (10, 25, 40 db) and a level knob each, with phantom power on the XLR inputs
• An output per preamp, a mix of the three and an expansion input
• Three envelope trackers, each with its sensitivity, overload and level lamps, its decay time (.1 to 10 s) and a c.v. output
• A pulse output per tracker, sustain or transients, with its action lamp
