Description

Buchla's 256e Quad Control Voltage Processor, a 200e series module: four identical sections that apply simple algebraic functions to control voltages: selection, scaling, offset, inversion, a bent transfer.

Key features

  • Each section chooses between two inputs, by its knob or by a voltage at In Select
  • A transfer function set by its output at 0 volts and at 10 volts in, with an optional breakpoint (in value, out value)
  • A 7 x 5 LED display of the transfer function in each section
  • Remote enable and the four breakpoints kept in the patch
