Description
Buchla's 261e Complex Waveform Generator, a 200e series module: a principal oscillator whose sine is shaped by analog timbre circuits, and a modulation oscillator to move it.
Key features
- A principal oscillator from 27.5 Hz to 7 kHz, its sine through three voltage controlled timbre elements: timbre, symmetry and high order
- A modulation oscillator in an audio or a sub-audio range, or tracking the principal; its waveshape voltage controlled from sine through square to pulse; modulating amplitude, timbre and pitch, singly or together, by the modulation index
- Sync to MIDI note on or to the principal, hard or soft
- A sine output for each oscillator beside its main one
- Every mode kept in the patch: sync, mod type, range and remote enable
