Description

Buchla's 281e Quad Function Generator, a 200e series module: four attack-decay function generators, A to D, organised in two pairs, each working on its own or with its pair.

Key features

  • Four generators, each with a pulse input, attack and decay knobs from .001 to 10 seconds and their CV inputs
  • A mode button per generator: transient, sustained or cyclic, shown on three lamps
  • Quadrature: a pair runs together, its two functions 90 degrees apart
  • A pulse out at the end of each decay, the function out on a blue banana, and two OR'S outputs mixing A with B and C with D, the B and D levels on their knobs
