A compact triangle core VCO in 6 HP. A 7-position octave switch replaces the coarse frequency knob; with a perfect fifth transposition switch and factory pitch tuning, centring the fine knob tunes it to C. Two precision volt per octave inputs sequence pitch, add exponential FM or transpose, the pair acting as a built-in adder. Sine, triangle, saw and pulse outputs run at once, with a reset input for hard sync and a low frequency (LFO) range. The vari-wave output morphs smoothly from sine through triangle, saw and square to a very narrow pulse, under its knob and a control voltage up to audio rate, with an LED showing its level.
