Feedback loop commander
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
The expander for the Timiszoara digital multi-effect, in 8 HP, wired to it by a ribbon cable: an external analog stereo feedback loop round its DSP. Each channel has a send and a return, a polarity switch, a VCA setting the amount of feedback and a voltage-controlled tilt filter; a CV input and a lamp for the clock driving Timiszoara's DSP slow down or speed up its computing, stretching time and frequency for long lo-fi delays and crunchy reverbs.
Key features
- LEVEL L and R: the feedback's return, with LEVEL CV (±8 V), up to self-oscillation
- TREB / BASS L and R: tilt filters on the feedback, with CV (±5 V), their lamp red when the highs dominate, green the lows
- PHASE L and R: positive or negative feedback
- SEND L / R and RETURN L / R: an external processor in the loop, the returns normalled to the sends
- CLOCK RATE with its CV and lamp, and its FIXED / VARIABLE switch: the DSP clock from 1/16 to twice its nominal 32 kHz
- Draws its power from Timiszoara (+90 mA / -55 mA)
