Dispersion Delay
Three vactrol band-pass filters in parallel, each into a voltage-controlled delay
Panel · 91.4 × 128.5 mm
Description
Based on ideas suggested by Lucas Abela: three vactrol-based band-pass filters in parallel, each fed into a voltage-controlled delay stage. Each filter's frequency and each delay's time take a CV, each delay has its feedback; the outputs are available individually, or mixed on OUT ALL. The delays are designed to go into stutter, zipper and breakdown territory, though they can be built to stay in their normal operating range.
Key features
- Three band-pass filter and delay channels: FREQ, CV FREQ, DELAY and F/BACK knobs each
- in1 to in3, cvF1 to cvF3 and cvD1 to cvD3 in; out1 to out3 and OUT ALL
- 18 HP; Nonlinearcircuits publishes no current draw, depth or assembled price (it sells the DIY PCB and panel), and ModularGrid lists none
