Divide & Conquer
Four CMOS clock dividers, binary and odd
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
A clock divider of four sections: /2, /4, /8, /16, /32, /64, /128 and /256; /1.5 and /3; /2.5 and /5; /3.5 and /7. All of them run off a signal patched into the first section's IN, and patching between them gives other divisions: /2 into the fourth section's IN makes /14 at its /7. CMOS through, no microprocessor; a companion to the Bindubba sequencer. The first run of panels has an invisible '64'.
Key features
- Four IN; /2 to /256, /1.5 (3/2), /3, /2.5 (5/2), /5, /3.5 (7/2) and /7 out
- Eight LEDs, on 3/2, 2, 4, 5/2, 16, 32, 7/2 and 128
- 8 HP; Nonlinearcircuits publishes no current draw, depth or assembled price (it sells the DIY PCB and panel), and ModularGrid lists none
