Enhance 2

A stereophonic enhancer in 8 HP that sets balance, width and tone under voltage control and opens up mid/side processing. The balance follows a true constant-power law, and the width runs from pure mono to extra-wide stereo. Two voltage controlled tilt filters, one on the mid signal and one on the side, each with a switchable bass or treble corner, clean up a muddy mix or, modulated, give binaural effects. Mid and side outputs let external modules such as a compressor or a reverb process them, and the built-in decoder turns mid/side back into left and right. A seven-LED meter shows the phase correlation between the channels, from –1 to +1.
