Gate Mix

The ACL Gate Mix is a four-channel audio mixer with CV and gate muting. Each of its four inputs has a CH knob (an attenuator) and a GATE IN switch and jack: a channel is switched on or off by hand or by a positive gate or CV, and the switch also reverses that logic. The switching is slew-ramped, a very fast fade in and out, so channels turn on and off without clicks, from simple muting to rhythmic gating. Inputs 1 and 2 and inputs 3 and 4 are summed into two groups with their own outputs, 1+2 and 3+4, and both groups are mixed into the main ALL output. The AUX input joins the mix at unity gain, for an effects return or to cascade another mixer, and the group outputs let the module work as a two-channel stereo mixer.
