VC Dual Amp

The ACL VC Dual Amp holds two identical, fully discrete linear VCAs, built on an entirely new circuit derived from the precise measurement circuits of oscilloscopes and adapted for gain control by an external CV, so they amplify without colouration, distortion or bleed. Each VCA has a GAIN knob for manual control and a CV attenuator scaling its CV input. The audio and CV inputs of VCA 1 are normalised to VCA 2, which makes voltage-controlled crossfades and stereo panning easy when both share the same signal. A MIX section carries an AUX input and a SUM output. The signal path is DC-coupled throughout, so the module processes control voltages as well as audio.
