Description

A wave craftsman in 6 HP, fully analogue, for audio and CV alike: a Mix section crossfading between three sources, one of them a diode ring modulator, and a Shape section that distorts or wavefolds, normalised to the mix.

Key features

  • MIX: input 1 at noon, crossfading to input 3 clockwise and to the ring modulation of inputs 1 and 2 counterclockwise
  • Diode-based ring modulator, a more vintage sound than a four-quadrant multiplier
  • SHAPE: a distortion between overdrive and clipper, or a six-stage serial wavefolder; fully counterclockwise, the dry signal
  • CV inputs for both, with an attenuverter on the mix and an attenuator on the shape
  • IN 3 normalised to IN 2, the Shape section's input to the Mix output
  • AC coupling switch for audio; DC by default, to process CV
