Let's Get Fenestrated
Three window comparators, each its own way
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
Three window comparators, each working a little differently, named after H.K. Verma's 'Some Special-Purpose Comparator Circuits'; for making gates and timed events from chaos or any CV, or pulse width modulation at audio rates. Special Comparison Instant, the most usual: HIGH and LOW (and CV HI, CV LO) set the voltages between which the gate is high. Comp for Concurrent Magnitudes: a gate when IN1 passes the SET/IN2 knob, a fixed level, or IN2's signal scaled by it; LEVEL sets the gate's height up to 10 V, or a signal at LEVEL makes envelopes or bursts. Comp for Restricted Openings: IN1 and IN2 summed, compared with SET, the gate's width set by WIDTH or its CV. Each lights a window of four squares in the panel, an LED shining through the bare board.
