Four signum circuits splitting and rejoining four signals
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
Four signum circuits, the crude multipliers of chaos research, extended to process four signals: their positive and negative parts are extracted and rejoined in various ways, switching at about 0.2 V, so the inputs should reach 0 V at times. Inputs HEAD, SHOULDERS, KNEES and TOES; the two centre columns are partial outputs, off at times, the right column full ones. Two inputs into HEAD and KNEES switch SHOULDERS and TOES too. Glitchy and sharp.
Key features
- HEAD, SHOULDERS, KNEES and TOES in, three outputs each
- Sixteen LEDs
- 8 HP; Nonlinearcircuits publishes no current draw, depth or assembled price (it sells the DIY PCB and panel), and ModularGrid lists none
