QLFO

The ACL QLFO is a quadrature LFO: it generates one sine wave and three phase-shifted copies of it, at 90° (cosine), 180° (inverted sine) and 270° (inverted cosine), each on its own output. The frequency of all four is set together by the RATE knob over three ranges chosen with the SLOW / MID / FAST switch, from very slow modulation up to above the audio range, so it can also serve as a simple sine VCO. The frequency is voltage controlled through the RATE CV input and its DEPTH attenuverter, and a second input tracks 1 V/octave over two to three octaves. The quadrature outputs suit stereo modulation, and patching an output back into RATE CV, or several QLFOs into one another, turns the sine into new waveforms, up to pseudo-chaotic signals.
