Description
The Serge Extended ADSR is Random*Source's Eurorack version of Serge's classic envelope generator, its original circuit preserved: the four segments of a keyboard envelope, each set by hand and voltage controlled, after an initial delay, with switchable slopes and a master control.
Key features
- DELAY, ATTACK, DECAY, SUSTAIN and RELEASE, each with its knob and its CV input
- The initial delay starts several envelopes from one gate or trigger, delayed from one another
- GATE IN and TRIG IN, an OUT of about 0 to 5 V and its lamp
- VC ALL sets every segment's time at once, as an acoustic instrument's envelope shortens with its pitch
- The three-position switch sets the attack and release ramps linear or exponential
