GTS
Slope Generator Reloaded
Panel · 132.1 × 128.5 mm
Description
The Serge GTS is Serge Tcherepnin's own redesign of his Dual Universal Slope Generator, built by Random*Source: two slope generators with a new, temperature-stabilised core, fast enough for audio (rise times down to 13 µs, cycling past 27 kHz), around a four-channel CV processor and a peak and trough section.
Key features
- Two identical slope generators: RISE and FALL rates, CV RISE, CV FALL and CV BOTH with their attenuverters, TRIG IN, 1V/OCT and INPUT
- MAIN, AC (bipolar), END and PULSE outputs on each, and a lamp following the MAIN OUT
- A CYCLE switch on each, which links END OUT to TRIG IN: a sawtooth to triangle oscillator tracking over five octaves
- A mixer summing both MAIN OUTs (L, R) and AUX1 and AUX2 through attenuverters
- MAX and MIN outputs, the largest and smallest of the MAIN OUTs and an AUX input, AUX2 normalised to +6 V
