Description

The Serge MEDUSA is Random*Source's subharmonic oscillator, one of Serge Tcherepnin's latest designs: seven accurate analog VCOs tied at the waist, in unison or fanned out into clusters, each a pulse wave.

Key features

  • Seven temperature compensated oscillators tracking 1V/octave, with 1V/OCT for all, 1V/O ODD and 1V/O EVEN
  • OUT, the sum of all seven, ODD (oscillators 3, 5, 7) and EVEN (2, 4, 6) for pseudo-stereo, and OUT 1 to OUT 7
  • SPREAD fans the voices out from unison to dissonance, by hand or by CV with its attenuator
  • Per voice: FREQ (voices 2 to 7) and SUB PW, from pulse width to subharmonic division, with a CV input and its attenuverter
  • FREQ ALL and FINE, a linear FM input and an exponential one with their attenuators
