Haible TAU Phaser MK2
18-pole analog phaser
Panel · 91.4 × 128.5 mm
Description
The Haible TAU Phaser MK2 is Random*Source's Eurorack version of Jürgen Haible's redesign of the Tau "pipe" phaser: an 18-pole, transistor based, all analog phase-shifting network.
Key features
- Two audio inputs, IN 1 and IN 2, with their attenuators, and two outputs, OUT A and OUT B, for pseudo-stereo
- PITCH moves the whole phase structure; FEEDBACK goes from gentle resonance to self-oscillation
- An internal LFO with LFO RATE; LFO DEPTH blends between the LFO and PITCH or external CV
- Two CV inputs with attenuverters, and a 1V/OCT input for musically related shifts (it is not an oscillator)
- A COLOR / NORMAL switch that inverts the effect signal for another spectral balance
