Description
The Serge Resonant Equalizer is Random*Source's Eurorack version, licensed by Serge Tcherepnin, of Serge's ten-band filter designed for synthesis: its bands, a major seventh apart but for the top and bottom ones, shape formant peaks and valleys like an acoustic instrument's.
Key features
- Ten bands from 29 Hz to 11 kHz: flat at noon, up to 12 dB of cut or boost between 9 and 3 o'clock, deeper rejection below 9, and resonant past 3
- Two OUT, the mix of every band, and COMB 1 and COMB 2, the sums of the alternate bands (29 Hz to 5.2 kHz, 61 Hz to 11 kHz)
- Two inputs, IN 1 and IN 2, mixed with their own knobs before the bands
- FEEDBACK from the output back into the module, in phase or inverted by the Ø switch for phase cancellation
