Description
The Serge Sequencer 8 XL is Random*Source's modern incarnation of Serge's analogue sequencer / programmer: eight stages, two rows of CV, built in cooperation with Serge.
Key features
- Eight stages, each with an A and a B knob, its button, its lamp, its GATE output and its SELECT input
- A and B give the active stage's voltages, A - B their difference (-5 to 5 V); precise steps, usable at audio rates
- A button selects its stage and sets the start (and length) of the sequence, even while it runs
- ALL GATE is high while a button is pressed or a stage is selected by a pulse: a simple mini-keyboard
- CLOCK steps it while the switch is ON; HOLD, RESET, PRESET and UP/DOWN control the sequence
A Special Edition with C&K 8125 pushbuttons in chromed bezels ("fancy buttons") is sold at EUR 666.
