Switch 4

A performance switcher and router in 8 HP, designed with and for live players. In the bottom section, four dual-action lever switches make or break the path from each input to its output: latched when pushed up, momentary when held down, cut in the centre. The inputs are normalled top to bottom, so one signal can feed several outputs, and input A carries +5 V when left unpatched to make manual gates. In the top section, two rotary switches each pick one of the four inputs and send it, through a dual-action switch of its own, to a routing output. Every path is buffered and impedance-compensated, so audio, control voltages, pitch CVs and gates pass accurately.
