Description

WMD's Synchrodyne: an experimental voice in 14 HP, a sawtooth core VCO driving a phase locked loop that clocks a switched capacitor filter, with a VCA and a wavefolder before it.

Key features

  • Sawtooth core VCO from about 0.02 Hz to 400 kHz: 1V/Oct, hard sync, exponential and linear FM with bipolar attenuators, saw and pulse outputs
  • Phase locked loop multiplying (x1 to x1024, x2 to x9) and dividing (/2 to /9) the clock, with Track Speed, Damping and Influence
  • 4 pole switched capacitor filter, 100:1 or 50:1 ratio, low pass, band pass or high pass, 2 and 4 pole outputs and their wavefolded versions
  • Input VCA with CV and a switchable four stage wavefolder; voltage controlled resonance
  • Expandable with the Synchrodyne Expand
