Four gamelan-resonator drums and a Razors distortion
Panel · 20.3 × 128.5 mm
Description
Four preset drums after the 'Gamelan resonator' Paul DeMarinis built into his Pygmy Gamelan in the early 1970s, on the LM3900, triggered on rising edges: a gentle, easily tuned tone that starts loud and gets softer under bursts of gates. The four are summed into a Razors distortion, harsh, for a mixed output; the knob at either end turns it off for a clean sum. Razors also works alone: a signal patched into its input replaces the sum.
