Description
TiNRS's analog synth voice in 36 HP, the RectangularThing's successor: two Curtis 3340 oscillators, an inverted state variable filter from the Fenix IV with low-pass, high-pass and band-pass inputs, a ladder low-pass filter, two ADSR envelopes and two amplifiers; the RectangularThing's jumpers became front panel switches. Best Modular at Superbooth 2024 (Sonic State); a run of 50, August 2024.
Key features
- Two oscillators with coarse and fine pitch, pulsewidth with CV, and a mixer of saw, triangle, pulse and a rambler or suboscillator each
- Glide and tracking switches; hard sync input; soft or hard sync, and triangle or saw cross modulation, of oscillator 2 by oscillator 1
- Linear or exponential FM on both oscillators, with its bipolar knob
- State variable filter fed by its low-pass and high- or band-pass inputs, each oscillator sent to one: spectral crossfading; cutoff CV, resonance, envelope MOD and keytrack
- Ladder low-pass filter after it, with cutoff CV, resonance and envelope MOD
- Volume and modulation ADSR envelopes with outputs; GATE input and LED button
- An insert loop before each SVF input; RAW and OUT outputs
