Triad
Three attack/release envelope generators on 555 timers, fired by a trigger or a gate, up to about 25 seconds
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
Three AR or AD envelope generators, developed for the cellF project, where an envelope had to run off a trigger. They also work with gates: once the attack is over the envelope stays high until the gate ends, then releases. With its 22 µF capacitors an envelope lasts up to about 25 seconds. A trigger or gate into IN1 fires all three envelopes while nothing is patched into IN2 and IN3. Each envelope's LED is part of its circuit and shows it.
Key features
- ATT and REL knobs for each of the three envelopes
- IN1, IN2 and IN3 in, IN1 normalled to IN2 and IN3; OUT1, OUT2 and OUT3 out
- An LED for each envelope
- 8 HP; Nonlinearcircuits publishes no current draw, depth or assembled price (it sells the DIY PCB and panel), and ModularGrid lists none
