Zlin

A 3 HP voltage-controlled crossfader built around a DC-coupled dual VCA: it mixes inputs A and B from its slider and the XFADE CV input, and also serves as a linear VCA with drone, a ducking VCA or a feedback controller. A bi-colour LED in the slider shows which input dominates.

Key features

• Crossfade between A and B, exactly 50/50 at the slider's centre; the full travel equals a 10 V control range
• XFADE CV input added to the slider
• AUX jack with three functions set by its switch: A SUM IN (mixed with A), A COPY OUT, CTRL OUT (the control voltage, -5 to +5 V)
• DC-coupled, for audio and CV alike
• LED in the slider: red when A dominates, green when B does, unlit at 50/50
