DelayNoMore3

Three PT2399 delays feeding each other in a loop, each under CV

Description

Three PT2399 delay chips feeding into each other to make a loop. Each stage's delay time is CV controlled, and each has feedback to itself and from the previous stage (FB-1). Like the original DelayNoMore, a crap delay but an excellent noise module; the differences are three stages instead of two, CV over all three, and stages usable on their own. Patch signals into inputs 1 to 3 and take the three outputs; the second row of inputs, IN1 (3), IN2 (1) and IN3 (2), gets each stage's input from the previous stage's output through its jack's switch, so patching there breaks the loop to use the delays individually. Pads on the board let the builder tame the delay times with resistors across the vactrols' LDRs.

Key features

  • Three PT2399 stages in a loop: DELAY, CV, FEEDBACK and FB-1 knobs each
  • IN1 to IN3, the loop's IN1 (3), IN2 (1) and IN3 (2), CV1 to CV3 in; OUT1 to OUT3
  • 18 HP; Nonlinearcircuits publishes no current draw, depth or assembled price (it sells the DIY PCB and panel), and ModularGrid lists none
