A version of the Buchla low pass gate, after the 292, with a vactrol: made to be a very low pass filter, with a resonance circuit a little less hysterical than most, which can really scream. Its switch changes it from a low pass filter into a gate, the West Coast word for a VCA; the middle position is half filter and half VCA.
