Description

The Serge Variable Slope VCF is Random*Source's Eurorack version of the Serge Variable Slope filter, licensed by Serge Tcherepnin: a filter whose amount of filtering is itself controlled, from barely perceptible to highly resonant, with high-pass, band-pass and low-pass outputs at once and two inputs crossfaded by hand.

Key features

  • HIGH, BAND and LOW outputs at once, 12 dB/octave with SLOPE centred
  • SLOPE from a soft 6 dB/octave cut-off to a sharp, resonant one, with its VC S input and attenuator
  • A Q knob, added by Random*Source, for more resonance
  • FREQ, a VC F input with its attenuator and a 1V/OCT input
  • IN 1 and IN 2 crossfaded by the MIX knob
  • Two THAT2180 VCAs at its heart
