Sloth Chaos

Very slow chaos, in 4 HP

Nonlinearcircuits · 4 HP · 3U

Panel · 20.3 × 128.5 mm

Description

A very simple chaos circuit, slow: built one of four ways, one cycle every 15 seconds (Sloth), every minute (Apathy), every 15 minutes (Super Sloth) or every two hours or so (Stasis Sloth); a change at the knob can take up to an hour to show. TORPOR changes the balance of the chaotic orbit, not its speed. Two outputs, BIG and SMALL, and a two-colour LED that changes colour as the output crosses 0 V. For ambience and very patient players.

Key features

  • BIG and SMALL out
  • TORPOR knob; a bipolar LED
  • 4 HP; Nonlinearcircuits publishes no current draw, depth or assembled price (it sells the DIY PCB and panel), and ModularGrid lists none
